For the fourth year the Japanese Film Festival will be hosted at the Japanese Community Cultural Centre. Check out North American premieres of award winning Japanese Films across all genres of films.
This year, JETAA will be sponsoring the Hochi Film Award Winner “0.5mm 0.5ミリ“. Directed by Momoko Ando, this film is about a young caregiver named Sawa who finds herself unemployed and homeless after a series of bad decisions. In order to survive, she attaches herself to solitary elderly men to gain access to their wealth. This dark comedy will run on Wednesday, June 24th at 7pm.
