You’ve seen us rock climbing, curling, and even axe throwing, but did you know we also play a mean board game? That’s right. JETAA Toronto is into board games. Who would have guessed it, right?
Now, whether or not we’re actually any good at any of them is another story, but thanks to this past month’s JETAA board games event, we finally had a chance to put our skills to the test.
Hosted at the excellent Snakes & Lattes location on College, the event’s Saturday afternoon start made it a breeze to find seats at the usually bustling board games café. And while only a small group ended up joining the event, an enjoyable time was had by all, whether we were testing our pop culture knowledge, card-balancing abilities, or our knack for avoiding exploding kittens.
While this was the first go-around for a JETAA board games event, it was great to see people interested in the event (though unfortunate that many couldn’t attend). Miss out on this event? Keep an eye out for more board game shenanigans to come.
