On Oct. 19th, JETAA hosted its annual re-entry conference at the Japanese Consulate. Sticking with traditions, after the conference many recently returned JETs along with other JETAA members headed over to Elephant and Castle on King for the Nijikai.
After a day full of activities and workshops, it was a good venue to continue chatting and networking over a few pints and traditional delicious British food, such as fried pickles and mini stuffed yorkies (care of JETAA).
The food was great and so were the people, who continued patronizing the pub into the later potion of the evening.
Although there wasn’t a sanjikai this time a round, the satisfied bellies and grins of JETAA members was enough evidence that the night had been well spent at Elephant and Castle.
