Chi Diep was an ALT-JET in Ibaraki Prefecture from 1995-1997. When she returned from Japan, she spent close to ten years working in the financial and consulting industry. Chi currently works at George Brown College in the School of Immigrant and Transitional Education as a Project Coordinator. Chi coordinates and oversees one of the federally funded workplace language programs for internationally trained immigrants. She has a strong interest in advocating on behalf of the immigrant and marginalized clients she works with to challenge the systemic barriers in the area of employment and post-secondary education. She is presently pursuing her Master of Arts in Education with Central Michigan University.
