On Saturday, October 3rd we held our annual Welcome Back Returners Pub Night/Nuit Blanche Scavenger Hunt in downtown Toronto. In typical JETAA fashion, it was a night filled with stories, laughter, drinks, and revelry!
This is always one of JETAA Toronto’s most fun and lively events of the year, and we’re happy to officially welcome back all of our fellow JETs from their adventures in Japan.
This year we had a large, genki group of new returners, JETAA members, and friends of JETAA came out to the Duke of York for food, drinks, and of course, reminiscing about our escapades in the land of the rising sun.
It was great hearing our new JETAA members enthusiastically share their stories, causing many of our long standing members to suffer strong bouts of ‘natsukashii’ – before boisterously sharing stories of their own.
After dinner attendees broke into smaller groups and headed out to explore Nuit Blanche. For the second year in a row JETAA Toronto designed a scavenger hunt consisting of photo challenges and skill testing questions in order to liven up the Nuit Blanche action, with great success!
We’d like to thank everyone who participated in the scavenger hunt, and are happy to announce that the winning team was Team Pikachu! Congratulations! Your prize is three $10 gift certificates for Sansotei Ramen! Way to go!
