August is always a hard month to plan any event for JETAA. People are vacationing, going to the cottage, enjoying multitudes of festivals and concerts. But for those in the city, the Super Summer Leisure Picnic at Toronto Island was the perfect escape from the city on Saturday August 15th.
There was a small group that came out which gave it a more cozier and relaxed vibe. JETAA members and guests enjoyed the relaxed environment on the beach, reminiscing about life in Japan over picnic snacks. There was even a leisurely game of Bocci, which is always a great way to liven up afternoon chatter. Thanks everyone who came out, and with hopes next year this event will become a bigger success.
