On May 9th, we excitedly welcomed the warm weather at this year’s Sakoolah event at High Park! After a long winter, it was wonderful to finally see a sunny sky, sakura trees in full bloom and people enjoying the outdoors.
Although there were threats of thunderstorms, around 250 people dropped by throughout the day. They brought food, ate delicious snacks, played games and had great conversations.
A big thanks goes out to JCSA for helping manage the event, and to TJEX (Toronto Japanese Exchange), CJFS (Chinese-Japanese Friendship Society) and JAVA (Japanese Visitors Association) for joining in on the fun. We hope to see you all again next year!
