February in Toronto is pretty cold, especially this year, so on Saturday, Feb. 22, a bunch of JETAA members got together at Goodfellas Art Gallery to feast on some fresh brewed Nabe and reminisce about Japanese culture over a Miyazaki animation: The Borrower Arrietty.
Everyone really enjoyed the four varieties of Nabe which were really vegetarian, meat, meat and more meat with a side of Korean Kimchi. Nothing quite hits the spot like Nabe, except maybe the accompanying desserts and pie. It was pretty interesting just to hang out in an art gallery afterhours, but combined with food, Japanese animation and people, it was a pretty good party.
